As you know I love kids’ interiors, and 2018 doesn’t seem set to disappoint. With some exciting trends that have been emerging over the last few months. Check out Kids Interiors for all the latest trends and to find out about new emerging products and brands. But for now here are my top 5 kids’ trends.

Rich colours
Rich colours have been sneaking up in children’s rooms for a while now. You only have to look at Instagram to see some gorgeous examples. This trend is expected to grow over the coming year.
Muted warm, earthy tones becoming quite the norm for a nursery, and colours such as mustard yellow, muted blues and greens becoming more popular.

Velvet dreams
A romantic look is very much en vogue, and what better to create this glamorous and sophisticated look than fabrics such as velvet. Subdued tones, florals, metallics, and sumptuous fabrics are the key to this look.

Boho
Boho is incredibly huge at the moment and long may it continue. We have seen a move towards a little more glamorous boho chic. The introduction of metallics and clean lines, ensures that boho evolves into a slightly more sophisticated look.

Modern Art
One of my favourite trends at the moment is modern/contemporary art (I do love a gallery wall). No longer is art just for the grown-ups in the house. There are so many amazing companies out there offering fun and cool prints, canvases and more for kids’ walls now…

Geometric Shapes
Like the triangles of the last few seasons, circles are set to become THE geometric shape of kids’ interiors this year.
